Over 100 Journal Prompts to Truly Know Yourself

The most important relationship we have in our lives is with ourselves. No – it’s not selfish. Some people spend so much time trying to please others that they completely forget about #1. It’s truly surprising how many people don’t truly know themselves. Some refer to it as – “their inner self.” I’ve been receiving a lot of questions on how a person can truly get to know that “inner self.” I believe the best way to get to know yourself – your REAL self, is to ask yourself questions that you may not even think of. Here are over 100 journal prompts to help you get to truly know the REAL YOU, aka “your inner self”:

  1. Hi Miss/Mrs. Cross,

I’m not much of an online person and don’t really know how “commenting” goes or if you yourself see these things. But i don’t know if you came up with these prompts or not but either way i’d like to really thank you. i have had serious issues with my mind for 21 of my 33 years and i see a doctor and meds and all that but since for a long time i have been so isolated and what i call mute when it comes to talking about anything. never comes out right and what i try to say gets taken in ways i don’t mean. i get completely blank and no matter how bad i need to say something i can’t. with triggers my terrible anxiety. i’ve tried to write down what i feel but that comes out jumbled and all over the place. but these prompt pages help me focus and try to put pieces together that where floating around and i couldn’t see or attempt to say. even if it’s just for myself for now i hope one day i can finally start finding a somewhat calmer mind i hadn’t had for most of my life. i don’t know if what i’m say makes sense or is even appropriate, but just wanted to say thank you. please don’t think me weird or anything…just felt like saying this to you.
