Things you Need to Hear if you have Anxiety

Anxiety is a true struggle. It can make nearly every aspect of your life seem harder. I know that some days are worse than others and sometimes you feel like you’re struggling all alone. You can sometimes feel like everything and everyone is against you – that you are fighting this battle alone. You’re not and these are some things you need to hear:

You’re not alone. Millions in the US alone have been diagnosed with some type of anxiety disorder. 

Stop beating yourself up. Life in and of itself is a struggle and yours may just be a little harder than others’. That makes you stronger, not weaker.

Even though sometimes you may not feel like it, your feelings are important, they are valid and they deserve to be heard.

You are stronger than you know. 

It’s not selfish to take care of yourself first.

You are not defined by your anxiety – you are so, so much more than that.

There is nothing shameful in admitting that you need help. We all need help sometimes and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. 🙂

Keep breathing – you’ve got this. You’ve been through this before and came out the other side. Always keep fighting – you are worth it. 

Just take it one day at a time – hell, even one hour, one minute at a time. You can do this. You’ve made it this far.

You’ve got this. Everything will be okay. Embrace that your struggle may be harder than those around you. Just never ever stop fighting. You are loved and you are worth it. You matter.
